And this is what Uncle Walt does to bad little girls who don’t follow his every dictum.

Miley Cyrus has been scheduled to appear at a red carpet event Friday, but according to a Disney official, don’t expect her to show.

The 15-year-old star of Hannah Montana who has turned up in all sorts of provocative photos of late has, “thrown her status as a role model for young girls into question,” a Disney spokesperson said Thursday.

Cyrus was to join dozens of other Disney Channel stars at a media party in Orlando on Friday to promote the Disney Channel Games, a charity competition.

Disney did not elaborate on why Ms. Cyrus was suddenly dis-invited.

How long do they think they can keep a fifteen year-old American girl from acting like she’s a sexual being?

They can revoke all the red carpet invitations they want, but it’s Disney who’s being punished. They clearly have no plan about how to handle Miley Cyrus growing older than her fan base. Instead of thinking of a graceful, money-making way out of this, they’re just going to fight it until the whole thing goes down in flames.

    That’s entertainment.

You’re right. Roy Disney should pay for her implants out of his own pocket!

Nice boobs! And hers aren’t bad, either.

Seriously, my guess is that if she had shown up there, she and the Disney execs would have to field a sh*tload of questions and I am sure they do not want to do that at this juncture, especially during a charity event, so it would be safer if she stays naked at home.

Miley is getting older than her fan base and she is coming out as a woman, sure, but at 15, she is STILL too young. The Disney Channel is a family channel and does not want to sell underage sex on their shows and for her to go public in the magazine and online with those pics was wrong on her end. Now Disney has to do damage control; something that, yes, they are unprepared for. But frankly, they shouldn’t have to. Miley should’ve kept that stuff private; she should have known working for Disney that this was going to open up a can of worms. Maybe that’s what she wanted, to be out of Disney. Maybe that was the plan all along. To walk away from all that kiddie money so she can do more “adult” roles. I dunno…

Are you nuts, John? We must encourage this type of wanton behavior among minors, especially those connected with the Mormon…I mean Disney Channel. Didn’t Jessica Biel pull a similar stunt to free herself of Aaron Spelling? She took those hot topless photos in a toilet when she was 17 and it didn’t seem to hurt her career. America needs more teen sluts. Get a cosmetician and a pair of CFM heels, Elle Fanning!

I’m waiting for Miley’s first spread in Fling or Easy Riders. This gal has star written all over her!

For years, I wanted Hillary Duff to do Playboy just so the headline would read “Hillary Duff in the Buff”.

I think perhaps Miley is doing this on purpose because she wants out of Disney…and who could blame her? I guess she thinking, “I’ll do it now as opposed to when I’m legal because by then, people will say ‘Miley Who?’”

Me personally, I think she should have waited until she was 18 so we could all enjoy it more and not feel like Polanski on a binge.

By the way, I’ve had three clients work on Disney Channel shows and Disney was never late with their checks; I always got paid on time. What can I tell ya? So I have no beef with Disney.

You must not have seen “Bambi II.”

I never said they weren’t an evil corporation bent on world domination; I just said they paid me on time. Check out Robert Smigel’s TV Funhouse bit about the Disney Vault, if you can.
