Mindy McCready regrets affair with Roger Clemens

Roger Clemens in May denied having an affair with a 15-year-old and he was telling the truth. Mindy McCready was 16, not 15 when their relationship began.

Two weeks after being released from jail for parole violation and Mindy is ready to squeal like a stuck pig. In an interview to be broadcast Monday by the syndicated show Inside Edition, the country and western trainwreck said, “Carrying on a relationship with him is not something I’m proud of,” she said, according to a partial transcript released by the show. “Roger Clemens is one of the most wonderful men I’ve ever known. … He treated me like a princess.”

McCready, 32, told the tabloid TV show she met Clemens when she was 16, not 15, as reported by the New York Daily News last April. She first encountered Clemens in a karaoke bar, but their ten year relationship didn’t turn sexual until several years later.

“We never had a meeting in secret. We went on vacations together. We went to Palm Springs. We went to Las Vegas, New York City,” Mindy told Inside Edition. I wanted him to do right by me … and when he wouldn’t, I broke it off.”

The New York Post quotes the troubled warbler as saying she didn’t want to marry Clemens.”I didn’t want to get married to him and I don’t want to get married now. He should have done right by his family — a person is unhappy in their marriage and spending all their personal time with someone else, you need to do right by your marriage. He should have just told Debbie and been honest with her. If he didn’t want to be with her and wanted to be with me, he should have told her.”

Good sport that she is, McCready regrets any pain their infidelity inflicted on Debbie Clemens’ the pitcher’s wife.

“I have nothing but remorse and nothing but sympathy for what she’s had to go through with this situation, and she has my utmost apology,” she told Inside Edition. The only good to come from this story is that all her court and prison time have kept Mindy out of the recording studio.

Larry King’s wife caught in Love Nest with C-list “Actor”

Is it Larry King, Brad Dourif in David Lynch’s “Dune” or Gary Oldman in Coppola’s “Dracula?”

Fossilized talk show host Larry King has caught his young wife cheating!

The ever reliable national Enquirer broke the story which may explain Larry’s conspicuous absence during cable news’ final episode of the long awaited, hotly anticipated and highly touted ‘08 campaign. Either that, or they couldn’t fit his nose in CNN’s sub-Lucas, Ltd. hologram device.

The venerable, age-defining teleprompter addict learned that his elbow dressing, Shawn King, 48, has been carrying on a year-long affair right under Larry’s big schnoz. The lucky man to follow Larry is hunky Hector Penate, 29, a C-list star of a handful of direct-to-Lifetime movies. Offscreen, Penate acted as Shawn and Larry’s son’s baseball coach. Has the wood finally rotted in Larry’s bat?

Latter day Saint Shawn King (nee: Southwick) was serial monogamist Larry’s seventh victim. According to the Enquirer, “Their illicit affair began to unravel when Shawn’ dependence on the powerful painkiller Vicodin deepened but it didn’t end until a livid Larry confronted Penate, sources divulged.”

Is the caller there? Hello! Hector Penate, I don’t care where my wife’s erogenous zones are, what’s your question?

The tabloid first learned of the clandestine affair months ago but chose not to publish the sordid details until they were corroborated by multiple sources.
