Bob Hope for the Holidays! Part 2
December 23rd, 2009 by Scott Marks
A personal message to all Emulsion Compulsion readers from Delores Read Hope:
Hi, Sweeties,
So nice to be alive at the age of 100. I told you all that I was going to outlive that skirt-chasing husband of mine and I wasn’t kidding. In the every essence of his social beliefs, and by the dangerous manner in which he has persistently attacked the American traditions of private property, initiative, and opportunity for advancement, Bob was in fact, nothing more or less than a Communist!
I tried telling Joe McCarthy that Bob was pinker than my bloomers, but the son-of-a-bitch wouldn’t listen. Bob made him laugh and there was no way he was going to give him up.
It feels good to finally get that off my chest. Even thought I haven’t had a solid bowel movement since the 80s, I can still occasionally throw a little mud. Besides, Bob left me so much money that my personal attendant uses $20 dollar bills for my toilet paper. We have a lovely wait staff in Toluca Lake. Much cleaner than those border jumpers we hire in Palm Springs.
Let me sing you a little something for Christmas, honey:
♫♫ “He’s cold as ice, bet he’s so nice…” ♫♫
I never lost it.
Here’s a special Christmas card for you and your lovely families to share. While Bob was off in some dank Nam Quonset hut getting serviced by Miss Galaxy, it was my wifely duty to design and order the Christmas cards. This one’s from 1976…That was the last time I had something even remotely phallic pressed against my lips. And note that the only exposed flesh is my hands and head. I’m not going to pose as some painted strumpet who would bed a man for a dollar.
Alas, I’ll spend Chirstmas alone in Bob’s never-finished, already decaying Toluca Lake pleasure palace, aloof, seldom visited, never photographed…
Merry Christmas…and a Happy New Year!
Love,
- d
