“Jackass” Bam Margera’s uncle Don Vito convicted on child sexual assault charges

TMZ.com reports that Bam Margera’s lazy-eyed, slow witted Uncle Vincent “Don Vito” Margera has been sentenced to what could amount to a life of probation after being convicted on two counts of sexual assault on a child. The 51-year-old Margera was accused of groping three girls, ages 12 to 14 at an autograph signing in a Colorado skate park. The Judge also ruled that Margera is not allowed to play the Don Vito character for 10 years.

April and Phil could not be reached for comments.

Margera served as an army cook in Vietnam which probably accounts for his gunt. In 2000 he made his first appearance in one of his nephew’s videos, CKY2K which led to spots on MTV’s Jackass series. I don’t remember him being in the first Jackass movie and I sure in hell am not going to scan the DVD is search of a convicted child molester. He was in #2, but not before making himself known to millions of addled adolescents on 40 episodes of Viv La Bam.

Now he’s really in deep #2. According to MTV.com when the jury reached their decision on October 31, Margera threw himself to the ground knocking over furnitureand screaming, “you might as well kill me now,” as well as, “I can’t f—ing spend the rest of my life in jail,” “you cops lied” and “you can rot in f—ing hell!”

Three teen witnesses testified last week, saying they had seen Margera touching the girls inappropriately. The defense argued — get this — that Margera was playing the part of befuddled Don Vito. When called to the witness stand, April Margera — Bam’s mother — testified for the defense, portraying her brother-in-law as a harmless, bumbling man. A bigger crime was Don Vito’s devouring the top of their wedding cake, something April never forgave him for.

Let’s pray that cameras were rolling and that this court house stunt will be included in Jackass 2.5.
