Dig A Hole: Johnny Pavarotti

World famous tenor and SCTV mainstay Johnny Pavarotti died today after choking on a chunk of provolone. He was 71.
Mr. Pavarotti will be remembered for his Edison Gum commercials, numerous appearances on The Sammy Maudlin Show, and his chilling rendition of Stairway to Heaven.
Ironically, his signature role came when he played himself and refused to share his cheese wheel with Guy Caballero in SCTV’s epic production of The Godfather.
Funeral services will be held at the Melonville Civic Auditorium. Friends and family are asked to send capiccolla in lieu of flowers.
